This site is dedicated to the memory of our dear Dad, Husband and Grandad David Whelan.
David Whelan was born in Old Windsor on November 02, 1942. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. He was extraordinary man who dedicated the last 40 years to his family. Everyone who met David said he always had a smile and a kind word - a truly inspirational man, who fought right to the end.

It is with a heavy heart that I write a message on this tribute page, Dave was without doubt the elder brother I never had, I dragged him to car shows and pushed him up and down Good wood hill rain or shine. He was both an inspiration and positive role model anyone could wish to have in their lives.
If I had just one regret in life it would be that I never found him and Pat in my younger years and so spending more time with the perfect couple.
RIP Dave, Gone but never ever forgotten xx
